How To Select
a Nursing Cushion

Start using it as a great nursing cushion,
and continue for years as a great shopping cart cushion!
The Kid Kozy "Kozy Kushion" and covers are made of super soft, durable fleece. The cushion and covers are 100% machine washable and dryable.

NOT intended as a safety device or child restraint. Do NOT leave child in the Kozy Kushion unattended! Do NOT allow the child to face down into the cushion, or play with the waist strap, or become entangled in it. Keep cushion and covers from heat source or open flame. Plastic bags are dangerous and not a toy. Keep this and all bags away from children to avoid suffocation.

Nursing / Feeding Cushion
1. Place the Kozy Kushion on your

lap with the side pads downward

outside of your thighs.
2. Latch the retaining waist strap

behind your back, adjusting it

gently, but snugly.
3. Lay the child across the pillow with

his/her head on one large end tube,

with his/her mouth under your

breast. Crossing your leg (or resting

a foot on a foot stool that is under

the child's head) may help position

him/her.
With the child removed, you can easily stand up and the cushion will hang down out of the way, around your waist, and return to position when you sit down.

	Nursing "Start Tag" The nursing start tag is a piece of white strap material supplied with the Kozy Kushion made to fit on either side pad. Place it around the side pad on the same side as you start nursing on first. Remember to change sides each time you start nursing.
	Note: Making sure that your knee is under the large head/leg support at the end with the child's head on it will help to raise the child's head closer to the breast. Additionally, using a Kozy Kushion cover with the Kozy Kushion will help to draw the head/leg supports inward and further elevate the child's head.

Shopping Cart Cushion
WARNING: The child should be able to sit up unassisted to use any shopping cart cushion!
1. Place the child into the shopping

cart and secure him/her with the

cart strap FIRST! (Always use the

strap supplied with the cart to

secure the child!)
2. Place the Kozy Kushion over the

child's lap with the securing strap

towards the back of the cart, and

the side pads down. Use the strap

through the bars in the back of the

seat to secure the cushion to the

shopping cart.

	Note: Letting a child hold his/her favorite toy make them feel more comfortable. Additionally, laying the child's favorite blanket loosely over him/her will block out some light and may make it easier for the child to rest.
	NEVER allow your child to lay on the Kozy Kushion with the child's face directly into the cushion or use any blanket or toy that prevents the child from breathing freely!

Changing the Cushion Covers.
1. Change the Kozy Kushion whenever it becomes dirty. Simply slide both of

the securing straps off the end of the side pads and remove the cover.
2. Place the clean cover over the Kozy Kushion with the securing straps

facing down over the side cushions. On each side, gently pull the side

cushions through the securing strap until the strap is near the large portion

of the Kozy Kushion. There are no buckles, Velcro, or snaps to undo or

replace.

Care Instructions.
Remove the cover from the Kozy Kushion before washing. The entire Kozy Kushion or covers can be washed in cold water, with mild detergent, on gentle cycle. Do NOT use chlorine bleach! Buckle the two ends of the waist strap together, and place the cushion in the washing machine. Use a large towel opposite the Kozy Kushion in the washing machine for balance. Tumble dry the Kozy Kushion or covers on delicate, low heat dryer cycle.

Note: If your washing machine is not clean prior to washing the Kozy Kushion, you may notice miscellaneous dirt and particles accumulated in the spaces between the sections of the Kozy Kushion. If this happens, remove the particles from the Kozy Kushion, run your washing machine empty for one full cycle prior to washing the Kozy Kushion, and rewash the Kozy Kushion.
